TOKYO GameFi (formerly CA GameFi) Dissolves — A Startup Engaged in Web3 Business




It has come to light that TOKYO GameFi (formerly CA GameFi) has been dissolved. According to the “Dissolution Notice” published in the Official Gazette on November 11, the decision was made at a shareholders’ meeting held on October 27.

The company was a startup engaged in Web3 business, founded by a management team, creators, and engineers with experience at CyberAgent (4751). It adopted its current name in October 2024.

The company had also been actively raising capital. In February of this year, it announced that it had raised a total of 1.85 billion yen from investors including SBI Investment, Digital Hearts Holdings (3676), gumi (3903), and Cygames.

Looking at its most recent financial results, the company posted a net loss of 293 million yen for the fiscal year ending September 2024 (its third fiscal year). In the previous fiscal year (the fiscal year ending September 2023), it had posted a net profit of 101 million yen.
