"Father-Daughter Beheading Murder: A Gruesome Case of Collusion"

"On July 2nd, a gruesome beheading case came to light when a naked body without a head was discovered in a love hotel room in Susukino, Sapporo. Approximately three weeks later, the Hokkaido Police arrested Dr. Osamu Tamura (59), a psychiatrist, and his daughter, Runa Tamura (29), on suspicion of corpse mutilation, illegal possession of a corpse, and abandonment of a corpse.

The victim was Mr. A (62), a company employee living in Ebetsu City, known in Susukino as "Tomochan," a cross-dresser with a certain level of recognition. On the day before the murder, July 1st, Mr. A attended a disco event alone in the city, dressed in a silver cosplay outfit reminiscent of a spacesuit, enjoying the extraordinary atmosphere of booming disco music. The event ended at 10:00 PM, and Runa, dressed in white, joined him nearby.

According to investigators, the two entered the love hotel around 10:50 PM. Mr. A was stabbed to death in the bathroom shortly after entering, and his head was severed. All belongings, including his smartphone and wallet for identification, were taken.

It is believed that Runa and Mr. A knew each other before the incident and likely arranged the meeting with the intention of committing the crime. It is alleged that her father, Osamu, was aware of this plan and assisted in the act.

The father and daughter lived in an elegant three-story reinforced concrete house in Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo, which Osamu purchased in 2004 and finished repaying the 22 million yen loan in approximately eight years.

Runa reportedly moved to the area during her elementary school years, but she struggled to adapt to school life and was somewhat of a truant during her middle school years. She attended a private high school and was known to be fond of manga. Recently, locals hadn't seen much of her, assuming she lived elsewhere.

Osamu was born in Enbetsu Town, Monbetsu District, and graduated from Asahikawa Medical University in 1988. From 2008, he worked as the Chief of the Liaison Psychiatry Department at the Sapporo Kin-iko Central Hospital's Psychiatric Department. He was known as an enthusiastic physician involved in social activities, addressing mental health issues related to overwork and problems of homelessness and alcohol dependence in the community.

In addition to his medical career, Osamu was dedicated to music and played guitar and vocals in a band. On social media, there are photos of him in eccentric makeup, holding a microphone.

Both Osamu and Mr. A were men who lived in Susukino and embraced their own unique styles by dressing as women. Mr. A was known for his immaculate makeup and nails and would frequent clubs, discos, and happening bars, enjoying the nightlife. However, some trouble incidents occurred, such as touching intoxicated women inappropriately, persistently asking for dates via LINE, and he was even banned from some establishments.

The motive behind Runa's brutal killing of Mr. A and taking his head remains unknown, as does the reason why her father, a physician, allegedly assisted in her heinous act. Interestingly, there were some peculiar occurrences at their home in Atsubetsu both before and after the crime. Osamu, who had a regular schedule of leaving for work at 8 AM and returning at 7 PM, had been absent from home at night for the past one to two months. Additionally, after the incident, the first floor of their house was covered with white cloth, preventing visibility from the outside. What might have been hidden remains a mystery, shrouding the full truth of this father-daughter beheading murder case."
