Memo for living easily as a low-consciousness individual:

Memo for living easily as a low-consciousness individual:

1. Keep living expenses around 100,000 yen per month.
2. Generate income from assets like dividends, investments, or rental income to cover most of the expenses. Platforms like Fantia or Fanbox could be suitable for creators.
3. Declare self-employment and keep the income below 1.13 million yen by utilizing deductions like basic deduction (480,000 yen) and special deduction for blue-form tax filers (650,000 yen). Also, consider deducting expenses like rent and utilities to increase the amount of income that can be earned.
4. Aim to become a non-taxable household for residential tax and only pay the heavily discounted national health insurance fee (around 2,000 yen per month) without paying any other taxes.

This lifestyle seeks an easy and cost-effective way of living, but it's not suitable for individuals with families. It's recommended for those who are content with being single and pursuing their interests. In the future, as social insurance and taxes increase, more people might opt for a similar lifestyle as they realize excessive work might only lead to higher taxes and less enjoyment.

In a rational perspective, working excessively isn't necessary, and one can find happiness by spending less and enjoying simple activities like leisurely walks, reading borrowed books from the library, or engaging in creative pursuits at home. The amount of money spent on daily life doesn't significantly correlate with overall happiness.

Though I am currently working a regular job, I hope to eventually settle into a lifestyle similar to this one.
