"Challenges and Contemplations: Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship in Japan"

In my case, particularly for Japan, I do not recommend seeking funding from venture capitalists (VCs). This is because VCs often lack a deep understanding of the business compared to successful entrepreneurs. Essentially, to secure funding, one needs to lower the intelligence quotient of their business plan. The compatibility between VCs, who focus on rigorous risk control, and entrepreneurs, who excel at finding market arbitrage and creating new businesses, is often poor.

I believe that the relatively small size of Japanese ventures might be attributed to the underdevelopment of VCs in Japan. I even suspect that the latent potential of entrepreneurs might be stifled as a result.

Well, it's true that there are also many fraudulent entrepreneurs, so there are mutual aspects to consider.
