pixivFANBOX has announced a new set of rules concerning AI-generated content. "AI-generated content" refers to content created using AI or similar technologies for the entire production process or its main parts, or content that has undergone minor modifications using AI. Posting or distributing such content violates pixivFANBOX's individual terms and conditions.

pixivFANBOX is a service that allows creators to receive support for their artworks and activities. Hence, AI-generated content is seen as conflicting with the creators' originality and creativity. Moreover, AI-generated content raises concerns about potential infringement of intellectual property rights, including copyrights, publicity rights, and personality rights.

In response to this issue, pixivFANBOX states that it may take the following measures at its discretion when detecting posts falling under "AI-generated content" or leading to the distribution of such content on other sites:
- Temporarily making the content non-public
- Deleting the content or making it permanently non-public
- Suspending or erasing the creator's account

However, pixivFANBOX clarifies that certain types of content are not considered "AI-generated content," such as images colored using automatic coloring features in painting software or content where the artist's own text is automatically translated using AI-related technology. Additionally, content that explains AI-generated works or related technologies is not classified as "AI-generated content" and is allowed for posting and distribution on pixivFANBOX.
